I always wanted my manifesto, to be a reflection of my thoughts from something that inspired me. The language reflected in my manifesto is communicative with a bit of a poetic style to it. It should be simple, thought provoking and easy to adapt.
I came upon a Bruce Lee video with a philosophical comment regarding personification as an element of water. I thought the statement to be really inspiring, and I've utilised it in conjunction with my own interpretation of what I've learned over the years.
It has made me think from a holistic perspective about design itself. As a designer, I do not wish to define myself by limiting my skills as a label. I wish to be like water - limitless but takes any form itβs poured into.
My manifesto reflects my thoughts, principles and learnings around the thought of wanting to be βlimitlessβ.
